the day of all days (this week at least)

Today was rough to say the least. Saying the most...I feel pretty darn accomplished considering the poor state of my health (which is crappier than normal...go figure). I woke up at 5ish am to drive to Claremont from my fiance's house in Camarillo, showered, passed out on my bed for a much needed 20 minute nap, trained at my new job for five hours, changed, drove to San Diego, worked for four hours, drove back, discovered yet another little piece of the puzzle that is my life, and rested at the kitchen table reading emails and eating watermelon before writing this.

Needless to say, I'm exhausted but I'm in too much of a reflective mood to sleep. I guess just reflecting on relationships of all sorts, why I am the way I am, what those ways are, and how fortunate I am to have such a supportive fiance and mom through the soap opera that is my life.

The most important thing I learned today is that I need to follow my own advice...especially when it comes to doctors because my well (or not so well) being affects the people around me more than I have ever cared to notice.

In other news, Natalie and Rachel (the three and five year old girls I babysit) were slightly disastrous today due to the fact that they're extremely sick and have now gotten me sick. Thanks for nothing immune system! How I love those girls though. I can't wait to have a few of my own someday (key word...don't freak out mom).

Florida is rapidly approaching and I am more and more anxious to meet Mitch's grandparents and experience a new place every day. Tonight Mitch opened my eyes to my ignorance about states. I really am terrible about that haha. "We can't move to Florida, we'll be hit by hurricanes!"...apparently not all people who live in Florida die from hurricanes. Go figure right? I definitely pulled a Jessica Simpson moment with that one for oh, my entire life haha. Sad. I am making an effort to be less close minded. Florida could be my dream state...just look at my fiance! He thought he'd hate Hawaii and came home wanting to move there! haha. Sometimes seeing really is believing I suppose.

Well it's hot as heck in my room right now (note to mom if she reads this: turn on the stinkin a/c! It's practically JULY!) and I'm ready for some much needed sleep.

My mind is cleared enough for the night. Thanks blog. You are one of a kind...no really! Oh sometimes I crack myself up and yet I'm so retarded at the same time. Sad.

As my great grandfather used to say "Night all!"

And that is that.
