Shame.

I am ashamed to say...yet again that I have not written here in far too long. But life calls right? Good news! Things are finally going well in my life (minus my immune systems inability to protect me from every string of the flu in existance). Here's an update on what is good:

1. Mitch and I celebrated our one year (although we haven't officially been able to actually celebrate it which sucks).
2. Moms' back at work so I'm done working 50 hour weeks and getting up at 4am!
3. Fall is upon us! That means pumpkins and cold weather (hopefully) and hot chocolate and tea lattes and family time and dark nail polish and sweaters and snuggles! It also means the holidays are approaching rapidly which is always exciting.
4. Wedding planning is coming along excellently. There are a few bumps but that was to be expected. Hoping to have it mostly planned by the time I move.
5. My wrist is healing itself! Finally...
6. The new book I'm reading has me hooked.
7. I've taken up biking in light of my recent order to never run again because of my back. Turns out biking is fun!
8. Mitch supposedly gets out of the Corps within a month. Woo! That's a long awaited blessing.
9. My sister is doing well in kindergarten. 1st grade reading level for the smart girl!
10. My family seems to finally be pulling itself together. That only took us a good five years.

The only downsides in recent history are that my scoliosis curve has worsened by about 6 degrees, I'm sick (constantly), I had to drop my Afro American Studies class, and my cousin is awaiting a lung transplant (which is questionably bad...it's also good).

As I wait for Mitch to get here so we can go pick out some schweet pumpkins to carve up and add to Professor Squashes family I feel blessed that everything is going so well (fingers crossed). Seems like God has pulled through yet again. I am anticipating my move to Vegas, even though I'll be far from Mitch, and our upcoming wedding (and by upcoming I mean 8 or so months away haha). We have survived so much and have arrived at such a good place. I thank God for that. I'm bummed that we'll be missing church (and our family there) this weekend due to Mitch's duty schedule at the base but that just means personal time with God and my new study Bible.

Hope everyone is doing just as well (and by everyone I mean the zero people who read this).

K bye!
