Ok so here's an update on what's been going on:
December brought Mitch and my one year anniversary of being engaged! Christmas was excellent and everything we could have hoped for. We took a great snowboarding trip to Big Bear and had a fabulous New Year's celebrating at our friends' house.
Since then, I've moved to Nevada to attend UNLV and am attempting to adjust, more or less. Since when did it become hard to make friends? I also realized this is my last semester of non-major related classes! Wooo. Except next comes several semesters of torturous biology, chemistry and physics. Boo. School is decent, minus that my classes are full of freshman and that I"m RETAKING English 102 and Introduction to Music for no gosh darn reason. I'm doing well in them though haha. I'm attempting to get involved by joining EVERY. CLUB. POSSIBLE haha. I got a job at a modeling agency as a receptionist but am hoping to move into the medical field to get my foot in the door eventually.
It's hard being away from Mitch, my mom, my best friend, and my amazing puppy but at least in a few months a few of them will be out here with me. =] Mitch has been so supportive and listened to me rant about how sucky it is here haha. Mom's been sending me almost daily picture updates of Peyton....whooooo hasn't been featured on my blog yet! So, ladies and gentlemen, here's my puppy Peyton (granted these aren't the newest pictures but they'll have to do).
As for another big event coming up, the wedding planning is going pretty darn well! I'm just soooo ready for the day to come and for Mitch to be here and for numerous other things haha.
Here's my pictorial update of that:
These are my best friends, in their bridesmaid dresses...but COMPLETELY wrong colors haha. They're blue...like the blue in the next picture. Beautiful. On a side note, why is my font like this!? I can't make it stop all the sudden! lame.
This is our reception site. It's absolutely perfect. Everything is exactly how I wanted it. I'm so excited! I promise to TRY to be better at updating this thing. As for now, I'm headed to bed to watch "The Prince and Me" (cheesy and lame, I know) and kick this migraine's butt!
God bless you all.
