Huzzah!

Oh today. Thanks for being incredibly long and boring. But also (genuinely) thanks for bringing Mitch a job and a much better day than I had. He deserves it. It's now 8:30pm and I have yet to start my homework. Awesome! Goooo college. Eh. Eventually I'll get to writing those papers. They're "technically" not even due tomorrow. Huzzah!

Here's a list of interesting things that happened to me today:
1. I got an automated call at work saying "Congratulations! If you are between the ages of 20 and 85, you may be eligible for a free funeral! This could save you an average of $5,000..." Really automated call scammers? That's just sad. But hilarious at the time.

2. A creepy old (and by old I mean 75 years old) Russian man spent far too much time invading my personal space and hitting on me. Really old man? Ya got no chance.

3. We ran out of water at work. How does that happen? Really? I sat, dying from thirst at my desk all day.

4. I came across a video of my senior year talent show with my friends. We. were. awesome. Really? Really.

5. I ate corn nuts for the first time in many many moons (and years). Definitely not as good any more.

6. I realized I'm fully addicted to Werther's Coffee Candies. DELICIOUS. REALLY.

That is all. It finally hit me that I can't expect to blog about interesting things if I wait like two weeks after they happen to tell them...sort of like how I chased a robber the other day. But that's another story. Mitch and I are reading this book called "How We Love" for our premarital counseling class. It's amazing. I recommend it to anyone and everyone....whoever you are that read this...maybe...no? Meh. Anyways it's teaching us how to respond to eachother's needs in the most effective way and to open up and talk about our pasts because they definitely affect the present. It's been interesting to reopen old wounds but I'm glad we're doing it.

Valentine's Day was pretty fabulous. We ate decent sushi, saw my cousin play volleyball and watched The Book of Eli. That movie is intense! And touching.

I miss living close to Mitch. I miss being able to share common experiences with him. I CANNOT wait for married life with him.
